Much like the puppy program, the adult desensitization sessions progress at a pace set by your pets individual personality. During the first session, we will allow your dog to get to know the facility & the groomer. We will sit your dog on the table and help your pet learn to associate the grooming routine with positive results. During their sessions, we will go through all the steps required to complete the groom. It is helpful for you to be present for these visits so you can ask questions, see the progress your dog is making & learn to recognize what your pet has trouble with. Oftentimes, there are steps you can take at home that will help your pet as well. Each dog is an individual case & as such, all programs are custom-tailored to suit your pet’s unique situation.
